10am-3pm  •  Sun 10 Sept 2023  •  Langley Park & Riverside Drive

10 am-3 pm, Sun 10 Sept 2023, Langley Park

Please complete the form below to register your Club to attend the Celebration of Motorsport, Celebration of Street Machines & Hot Rods or Shannons Classics on the Swan

PLEASE NOTE EARLY CLOSING DATE Friday 1st SEPTEMBER 2023 FOR ENTRANTS/EXHIBITORS ON LANGLEY PARK.

THIS INCLUDES: CELEBRATION OF MOTORSPORT (Langley Park), CELEBRATION OF STREET MACHINES & HOT RODS (Langley Park), EXHIBITORS (Langley Park)

The Celebration of Motorsport is for racing/competition vehicles of all shapes and sizes…basically, anything with an engine that competes, be it Rally or Race Cars, Road or MotoX Bikes, Jet Boats, Drag Cars, Speedway cars & Bikes, even Soap Boxes (yes we know they don’t have an engine but they compete and have wheels).

The Celebration of Street Machines (1949 – 1990) & Hot Rods (1928 – 1948)

Nonstandard Hi-Performance modifications, e.g. bodywork, interior, wheels, engine & exhaust.  Vehicles that are registered, driven on the street or high-level show vehicles.

Competition Burnout Cars

Professional High-Level burnout cars can display nameplates without displaying any Australian states in case the vehicle is on a state-registered number plate. This is to avoid or encourage the general public perception of these vehicles as street-driven cars, e.g. Hoon issues.

Please Note: all burnout vehicles must be trailered in, unloaded and loaded onto Langley Park without starting the vehicle.  When a vehicle is in the static position, you can start the vehicle for display purposes but must not move. (Please use the winch. For the purpose of avoiding wheelspin on the lawn being ripped up, which is a major Targa West/City of Perth groundskeeping). Cars are not to leave the display until 3.30 pm.

Alternatively, the Shannons Classics on the Swan is a better option if your vehicle is classic, vintage, unique or unusual…basically, any vehicle of interest that does not have a competition or motorsport background.

The Celebration of Motorsport, Shannons Classic on the Swan, Targa City Sprint action and the final stages of Targa West will once again be draw cards and will attract spectators to the foreshore precinct.

Thank you for being involved.

Thank you for your interest in the Shannons Classics on the Swan and Celebration of Motorsport. Registrations have now closed. As a spectator, you are, of course, welcome to come to enjoy the displays on Langley Park and beside Riverside Drive between 10 am and 4 pm on Sunday, 10th September 2023. Kind regards Ross & Jan Targa West
